![]() ![]() If you would like to, I would appreciate it if you could ask for permission, explain what you plan to do with the track, and dm the file to me so I can post it on this thread. rFactorTools is a collections of Python scripts for manipulating and converting rFactor related files. converted & updated for rfactor2 by digga including 2 layouts: Grande Combe Petite Combe changelog v1. I'm open to people improving or editing this track. I'm mainly focusing on modding vehicles though. However, I'm currently learning how to mod vehicles for Beamng. I may try to improve the quality someday. I asked Tiago (again) if I could convert the map to beamng. How? By cleaning up the mess of files that I had on my computer, which was running out of space, and accidentally deleting my whole screenshots folder. However, my stupid self, being stupid, accidentally deleted the screenshot. I took a screenshot so I could post it here as proof. He said I could as long as I gave credit to the original authors of the map. Here is the download link that Tiago posted: I sent Tiago a dm asking for permission to convert the map to Beamng. Then it was converted be Tiago from rFactor2 to Assetto Corsa. If you have any comments or improvement suggestions, feel free to share. This track was originally from rFactor2. I don't care much about this, but it's something that I could also check I would need to read AC's files to get track info, like length and detailed location. It seems the tool reads some data from the rFactor2 content files. Assetto Corsa logs doesn't provide the same information that rFactor2, so I don't get tire and fuel usage.Right now I only read the first session in a log file, so if you set a race weekend with practice, qualify and race, you'll be able to extract only the practice info. You can also set teams manually to run a constructors championship Then, you can check the logs, and add them as championship results. Using the Log Analyzer, just press the refresh button and the new converted logs should load.Or you can also edit "process_file.bat" and set the name of a specific file you want to convert (I'll try to make this more straightforward in the future). Now, if everything is ok, just run "process_latest.bat" to convert the latest log on the CM folder (set by INPUT_PATH).You don't need rFactor2 installed to use any of these.Assuming you already have rFactor2 Log Analyzer installed, go to "Options" and add the folder you set the TARGET_PATH to the "Current log directories".The TARGET_PATH should point to where you want to save the converted files (can be anywhere on your computer). The INPUT_PATH should point to your Content Manager "Sessions" folder, where the CM log files are saved.Update the INPUT_PATH and TARGET_PATH variables in the config.ini file.Install Python (I'm using 3.11, but other versions should work fine).I've made some tests and it seems to be working fine. So, I wrote a simple python app that reads Content Manager log and converts it to the rFactor2 format, so it can be used with the Log Analyzer. But it's for rFactor2 and I didn't find a similar tool for Assetto Corsa. I discovered rFactor2 Log Analyzer recently and it's an amazing tool to analyze (duh) logs and also setup custom championships (this is the feature that I'm most interested). ![]()
